Brussels-based practice: Holistic bodywork & complementary care
Experience a delightful moment of calm on a comfortable chair!
Chair shiatsu is an accessible Japanese form of bodywork that helps to immediately release daily tension. It has its origins in Anma (or Amma), an ancient Japanese pressure point massage that shares the same classical foundations as Tuina from ancient Chinese medicine.
In my practice, I provide a safe space where you don’t have to do anything at all. The massage is performed over your clothes while you sit comfortably — allowing you to easily and effortlessly experience deep relaxation.
Through targeted pressure with thumbs and palms, complemented by kneading, rubbing, tapping, shaking, and gentle stretches, you will feel your body release tension and experience deep relaxation. The back, shoulders, neck, head, arms, hands, hips, and legs are treated in a smooth and attentive manner, fully adapted to your current needs.
Each session is unique: you receive exactly what your body needs at that moment. Chair shiatsu helps you slow down, fully ground yourself in the present, and reconnect with calmness and clarity.
In addition to sessions in my practice, I also offer chair shiatsu for teams, organizations, and special events. Want to bring calm and vitality to the place where you come together? Check the possibilities on my Corporate & Events page.
